The Pendleton Bulldogs posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They breezed by West-Oak on the road to the tune of 63-35. With Pendleton ahead 35-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Pendleton was led to victory by Garon Blalock and Luke Gray. Blalock dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, while Gray scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kory Jones, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
West-Oak lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lucas Towe, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Drew Crompton, who scored 15 points.
Pendleton has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for West-Oak, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
Pendleton will be playing in front of their home fans against Seneca at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Seneca's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games. As for West-Oak, they will head out on the road to square off against Daniel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Daniel will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
