The Cedaredge Bruins will face off against the North Fork Miners at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
North Fork will be up against a hot Cedaredge team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over Fowler on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Makai Salazar and Zach Mannon did most of the damage at the plate: Salazar went 4-for-5 with three doubles, four RBI, and one run, while Mannon went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Those four hits gave Salazar a new career-high. Ian Blair was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
Cedaredge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .514. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Fork, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 12-7 victory over Rangely on Saturday.
Jordan Gonzalez was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Gonzalez was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for North Fork: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-3 otherwise.
In other batting news, North Fork got a big performance out of Bronson Hall, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. The Miners are undefeated when Hall posts three or more RBI, but 1-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Gage Adam, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs.
Cedaredge's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for North Fork, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Cedaredge has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .512. However, it's not like North Fork struggles in that department as they've averaged .473. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Cedaredge couldn't quite finish off North Fork in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 and fell 2-0. Can the Bruins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
