After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bradford, Port Allegany was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Smethport Hubbers as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Port Allegany let Alayna McKervey and Emily Errick run wild. McKervey went a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, one run, and one double, while Errick went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave McKervey a new career-high.
