The team relied heavily on Aubree Itzen, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Addi Peskie, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI.
Stevens Point pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, their record now sits at 13-4.
