The Raytown Bluejays were the 66-63 winner over the Fort Osage Indians when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Raytown took a 61-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Osage on Tuesday. Raytown can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their three games.
Fort Osage can attribute much of their success to Isaac Woodward, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Woodward's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cruz Navarro, who scored 12 points.
Raytown's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Fort Osage, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Raytown will be playing in front of their home fans against Chrisman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Osage, they will head out on the road to face off against Grain Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
