The Choteau Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 63-25 defeat at the hands of Chinook. While losing is never fun, Choteau can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Chinook is ranked eighth).
When it comes to explaining why Choteau lost, one person who can't be blamed is Rylynn Allaire. Despite the final result, she scored seven points.
Choteau's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Chinook, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Choteau will head out on the road to challenge Cut Bank at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chinook, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Conrad on January 26th.
