of the Week awards during the 2022-23 school year.
Each week during the season (regular and
post), there will be a fan-generated contest to
tab weekly winners. Each winner receives a
letter and award patch for their varsity jacket.
How does it
work? Nominees are selected from
statistics submitted on MaxPreps. Coaches who do not have current access may
request their free account here.
Weekly finalists are released on MaxPreps every
Tuesday and voting is conducted in a special poll.
Voting ceases at noon on Mondays. The winners are announced the next day
along with the next week's nominees.
Participants may vote as many
times as they want. It's a competition.
Last week over 105,000 votes were cast. So far this
school year 4.1-million votes have been cast.

* Larissa Evans, Millville Girls
BasketballSophomore had 25 points, 14 steals and
nine rebounds in a 35-31 win over Benton. Averaging 20 points, 7.6
rebounds and 7.4 steals.
* Jacob Lewis, Lehigh Christian Academy (Allentown) Boys
BasketballSophomore had 43 points, 10 rebounds, six
assists and four steals in a 72-58 win over Roberto Clemente Charter
School and 33 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists in a
58-55 loss to Bethlehem Christian. Averaging 32.2 points, 5.8 rebounds,
3.8 steals and 2.3 assists.

Senior had 81 points, 64 rebounds, 21 steals and 13 blocks in wins over Biglerville, Newport and Millersburg. Averaging 26 points, 17.9 rebounds, 4.7 steals and 2.4 blocks.
Senior had 60 points in a 91-64 win over Millville and 45 points in an 87-32 win over Benton. Also had 34 points in a 68-53 loss to Hughesville. Averaging 35.9 points and 4.5 rebounds.
Senior had 34 points, 12 rebounds and four assists in a 59-40 win over Lower Moreland and 33 points, 13 rebounds, five steals and four assists in a 74-25 win over Springfield Township. Averaging 19.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
Senior had 24 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in an 83-49 win over Moshannon Valley and 29 points in a 55-45 win over Bellwood-Artis. Also had 22 points, six rebounds and three steals in a 76-71 win over Juniata Valley. Averaging 19.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.8 steals.
Freshman had 45 points and 17 rebounds in a 50-44 win over Avelia and 42 points in a 49-45 win over Hundred. Also had 24 points, seven steals and five reboudns in a 28-25 win over Mapletown. Averaging 23.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.1 steals and 2.1 assists.
Senior had 34 points, 10 rebounds and five steals in a 76-71 win over Bethlehem Center. Also had 26 points and 10 rebounds in a 73-58 loss to Burgettstown. Averaging 23.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.5 steals.
Sophomore won the 189-pound title at the 33-team Burgettstown Invitational with four pins (only one past first period). Is 27-2 with 24 pins.
Senior had 15 points, 15 rebounds, six blocks, four assists and three steals in an 86-65 win over Hill Freedom World Academy. Also had 19 points, 12 rebounds and four steals in a 69-34 win over Belmont Charter and 16 points and 12 rebounds in an 82-68 win over Paul Robeson. Averaging 11 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.3 steals and 2.1 blocks.

loss to Farrell. His 100 tackles ranks third in the state.

FootballSenior had 21 tackles, 17 solo), four sacks
and a fumble recovery in a 21-0 win over Towanda. Has 107 tackles and 14
TFL this season.

completed 10-of-14 passes for 247 yards and five TDs in a 41-20 win over

and 34 TDs.
* Loren Gehret, Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa) Girls
SoccerSenior had four goals and an assist in a 5-3
win over Freedom Area in the 1A state final. Also had a goal in a 2-1
state semifinal win over South Williamsport. Finished the season with 44
goals, 23 assists and 111 points.
* Eli Lingenfelter, Central (Martinsburg)
FootballSenior had 12 catches for 174 yards and
three TDs in a 35-7 win over Grove City and seven catches for 128 yards
and two TDs in a 35-6 win over Clearfield. Has 95 receptions for 1,610
yards and 27 TDs this season.
