Baseball Recap: Madison Wins Going Away Against Brush

Madison won the last time they faced Brush and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Streaks were the clear victors by a 15-8 margin over the Arcs. The result was nothing new for the Blue Streaks, who have now won 13 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

NathaN YarNell was incredible, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ben Amos, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Madison's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Brush, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will venture away from home to face off against Pymatuning Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brush, they will head out to take on Revere at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
