The McKay Royal Scots will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the West Albany Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. McKay will be strutting in after a victory while West Albany will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, McKay beat Corvallis 30-20. The win was just what McKay needed coming off of a 50-14 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, West Albany was the victim of a rough 49-28 defeat at the hands of Silverton on Friday.
Despite the loss, West Albany had strong showings from Lukas Hews, who threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns, and Austin Simmons, who picked up 133 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
McKay's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for West Albany, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
McKay didn't have too much breathing room in their match against West Albany in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, but they still walked away with a 20-14 win. Does McKay have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Albany turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
