Adding to the longest winning streak in Southeastern - South this week, Westminster Academy beat Marathon 48-12. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Lions.
Coral Shores moved up to 321 from 398 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Hurricanes were able to move up by defeating Florida Christian 38-0.
Nick Tejedor was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Patriots lost to Coral Shores. The 5-foot-8 defensive back.
Joey McCain put up the best numbers through the air as LaSalle bested Ransom Everglades. He finished with 4 completions for 66 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Westminster Academy's Joe Vairo and Andrew James led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Vairo has thrown for 807 yards this season, while James has 17 catches for 346 yards. Cooper Chaplin from the Dolphins leads the league in rushing with 428 yards.
