Even though Providence Academy scored an imposing 71 points on Tuesday, the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions still came out on top. Lakeway Christian Academy took down the 85-71. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lakeway Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Despite the loss, Providence Academy still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Peters-Daniels, who scored 31 points along with six assists and four steals. Peters-Daniels hasn't dropped below 17 points for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Nash Martinez, who scored 16 points.
Lakeway Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Providence Academy, they dropped their record down to 14-14 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Lakeway Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Concord Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. Providence Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
