Southeast won the last time they faced Hardee and things went their way on Thursday too. The Seminoles blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Seminoles.

Southeast not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hardee between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.

Southeast had a senior duo take command as Layla Holmbeck had 30 assists and seven digs and Mellise Bush had ten digs and two aces. Holmbeck has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Southeast's record now sits at 2-0. As for Hardee, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast will welcome Inspiration Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hardee, they will be playing at home against Sebring at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
