Baseball Recap: Prosser Has No Trouble Against Intrinsic

It's playoff time, and Prosser had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Intrinsic Mustangs with a sharp 17-10 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Prosser got a massive performance out of Kajarrie Walker, who went 3-for-4 with six stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. Walker is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Cebrero, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.

Prosser was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Intrinsic only posted a batting average of .348.

Prosser's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-7. As for Intrinsic, their record now sits at 10-7.

Coming up, Prosser will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Golder at 4:30 p.m. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.9 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. Intrinsic has already played their next match (against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
