Taft got a great performance from Daniel Alvarez as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 5.1 innings pitched. Alvarez also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Eagles are undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-8 otherwise.
