The Sports Leadership & Management Bulls will venture away from home to  challenge the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many  points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Sports Leadership & Management beat Bonanza 13-7. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Bulls.
It was another big night for  Greg Cortez, who rushed for 90 yards and one  score.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Sports Leadership & Management's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Mike McAllister,  Logan Taylor,  and  Kaleb Ross, who each picked up one  sack apiece.
 Meanwhile, Cimarron-Memorial fell victim to Clark and their airtight defense  on Friday. They were  outmatched by the Chargers and fell  51-0. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost four in a row.
 Cimarron-Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
 Sports Leadership & Management was dealt a bruising  28-0 defeat at the hands of Cimarron-Memorial in their previous matchup  back in August of 2021. Can the Bulls avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
