Even though the Briarwood Christian Lions scored an imposing 58 points on Monday, the Pelham Panthers still came out on top. Pelham snuck past Briarwood Christian with a 63-58 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pelham.
Joe Wimberly was nothing short of spectacular: he scored 15 points along with seven assists and five steals. Dynarian Long was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Pelham's win bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Briarwood Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-14.
Pelham is on the road again on Wednesday and plays Helena at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Briarwood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
