The Leonardtown Raiders can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 57-17 victory over Lackey. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-6.
Teonne Thomas had an outrageously good game as she scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gretchen Fleck, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.
Leonardtown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Lackey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.
Leonardtown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-32 victory vs. Northern on the 9th. Lackey has also already played their next matchup, a 55-46 defeat against McDonough on the 9th.
