The Kewaskum Indians will take on the Kiel Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kewaskum comes in on 11 and Kiel on six.
Kewaskum's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Winneconne as they made off with a 6-0 win. Considering the Indians have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Kingston Grisolono was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tyler Densow, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Reichert, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Kiel nor Two Rivers made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Raiders walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Purple Raiders.
Not much got past Aaron Stephany, who gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Two Rivers off the board.
On the hitting side, Kiel saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Gross, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Kewaskum's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Kiel, their record now sits at 15-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Kewaskum has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Kiel struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Kewaskum came up short against Kiel in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 6-3. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
