Triway is on a seven-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Fairview is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Titans will welcome the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Triway is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 30.4 points per game this season.
Last Friday, Triway didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Orrville, but they still walked away with a 27-21 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Titans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Red Riders are ranked 225th).

Luke Starr was his usual excellent self, rushing for 124 yards and three scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 142 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024. Triway's leading receiver Bruin Flinner was Starr's top target yet again, picking up 91 receiving yards and one touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Triway's defense and their six sacks. In that department, Wilson James was the leader with 2.5.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Fairview had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against Fredericktown by a score of 51-41 on Friday.
Fairview's win came from a few key players Triway will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Burke Lowry, who threw for 322 yards and four TDs while completing 77.3% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Fairview's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Savijan Harris was Lowry's top target, picking up 89 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Triway's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Fairview, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Starr and Lowry. Starr just won't slow down this season and has thrown 26 touchdowns while averaging 220.2 passing yards per game. Lowry has been a dominant force too and has thrown 38 touchdowns while averaging 305.3 passing yards per game.
We should be in store for an exciting game as Triway and Fairview have no problem gaining yardage. The Titans have been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 351.2 total yards per game. However, it's not like Fairview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 436 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them. Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other football content.
