Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Goshen Eagles, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell 22-15 to Clarke County on Friday. Goshen's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
AJ Ezell was his usual excellent self, rushing for 205 yards and a touchdown.
Goshen's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Clarke County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Goshen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clarke County will take on Comer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Comer is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
