The Rancho Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 51-42 to Cimarron-Memorial. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rancho in their matchups with Cimarron-Memorial: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Rancho still got an impressive performance from Taylor Dagons, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Dagons hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Crystal Padilla, who scored eight points.
Rancho's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rancho will take on Doral Academy Red Rock at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Doral Academy Red Rock comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they will be playing at home against Western at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
