Pius X posted their closest victory since September 19th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Lincoln Northeast Rockets 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Thunderbolts as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Pius X was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 22-25, 25-11, 17-15.

Despite the loss, Lincoln Northeast had strong showings from Addy Murrell, who had 15 digs and three aces, and Patricia Mozee, who had 15 assists and ten digs. Murrell is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Awmenah Jantzen, who had eight digs and two aces.

Pius X's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Lincoln Northeast, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Coming up, Pius X will face off against Duchesne on Thursday. As for Lincoln Northeast, they will take on Columbus on Tuesday.
