Armwood's leading scorer did Amaya Richardson thing again on Friday. Richardson was dialed in as she posted 16 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. She was dominant the last time she took on Wharton back in December of 2023, so they probably should've seen this coming. Richardson has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played.
Richardson will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when she faces off against Middleton on Tuesday. Richardson hasn't had any trouble running up the score (she's averaged 15.5 per game this season), but it's looking like she'll have her work cut out for her against the Tigers' dominant defense.
