With a playoff win on the line, Munford rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Anderson County Mavericks 4-2. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Noah Lowry, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Munford's win bumped their record up to 21-15. As for Anderson County, their loss dropped their record down to 31-12.

As of now, neither Munford nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
