West Union extended their winning streak to 11 on Friday, bumping them up to 11-0. They came out on top against the Houlka Wildcats by a score of 60-52. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Houlka, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Winter, who posted 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Paxton Graves, who had 11 points and seven boards.

Looking ahead, West Union and Coahoma County will face off at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Houlka, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Velma Jackson at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
