It was a good run, but DME Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Winter Park Wildcats.

Olivia Lewis and Julia Amaral Abbade certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Lewis had five digs and four aces, while Amaral Abbade had two aces.

DME Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Winter Park, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

DME Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Beachside on the 4th. As for Winter Park, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lake Brantley on the 4th.
