Winchester are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Arlington on Friday at 7:00 PM. Winchester are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Winchester had enough points to win and then some against Wakefield Memorial last week, taking their game 34-14. The success made it back-to-back wins for Winchester.
Meanwhile, Arlington might have drawn first blood against Stoneham, but it was Stoneham who got the last laugh. Arlington took a 21-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stoneham.
Winchester's win lifted them to 2-0 while Arlington's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll see if Winchester's success rolls on or if Arlington are able to steal their positive momentum.
