Dk Chapman Jr. Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Midlothian got the W thanks in part to Dk Chapman Jr. playing the best football he has all season. Chapman Jr. rushed for 112 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory (which was Midlothian's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Chapman Jr. and Midlothian will head out to take on James River Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bryce Sowers Turns in Season-Best Performance
Bryce Sowers produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Midlothian to the win on Friday. Sowers rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.
Powhatan's probably not too fond of Sowers given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Sowers saw the Indians), he rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.

Johnson Posts Huge Game in 41-14 Victory
Linwood Johnson was instrumental in extending Huguenot's winning streak to seven on Friday. Johnson was dynamite, throwing for 244 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
Huguenot's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Johnson and Huguenot will be playing in front of their home fans against Cosby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Iveon Lewis and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Huguenot picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Iveon Lewis. Lewis was unstoppable, picking up 72 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
For the season, Lewis has caught 11 touchdowns while averaging 98 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had five receiving touchdowns.

Huguenot picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Markel Dabney. Dabney was dynamite, picking up 158 receiving yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made eight total tackles (1.0 for loss).
For the year, Dabney has averaged 70.4 receiving yards per game.
