Alcantara Posts Huge Game in  49-0  Win
 Starting off the list is Pittsburg's  Marley Alcantara, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Alcantara threw for 238 yards and five touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes.
 If the past is any indication,  Alcantara could be in store for another big game when he takes on Heritage on Friday. When  Alcantara last faced the Patriots  back in October of 2023, he threw for 255 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80.8% of his passes.

Austin Peters Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
  Austin Peters posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
 The  victory was  the fifth in a row for Heritage, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. They and Pittsburg are set to duel  on Friday.

Ilias Muhammad Delivers Best  Effort of Season
 On Friday, Heritage got the W thanks in part to  Ilias Muhammad playing the best football he has all season. Muhammad picked up 58 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 65 yards. The  effort  marked the most  rushing yards  he has had since back in November of 2023.
 This year,  Muhammad  has averaged 32.6 rushing yards per game.

Searcy Made His Presence Known in Pittsburg's  49-0 Victory
 The second Pittsburg player making an appearance here is  Jamar Searcy, and for good reason. He rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown.
 For the season,  Searcy  has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 121.5 rushing yards per game.

Makari Kenion Turns in Season-Best  Performance
  Makari Kenion produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pittsburg to the win  on Friday. Kenion picked up 33 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 This season,  Kenion  has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 45.8 receiving yards per game.
