Mount Notre Dame put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 61-17 victory over Ursuline Academy. The result was nothing new for Mount Notre Dame, who have now won three contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Mount Notre Dame got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kailee Bransford out in front who scored 13 points. Aubrey Elkins was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Mount Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Ursuline Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Mount Notre Dame will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Ursula Academy at 7:00 p.m. St. Ursula Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 249th, while Mount Notre Dame is ranked 27th). As for Ursuline Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Milford at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Milford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Thursday.
