Wrightstown has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 23. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marinette Marines on Tuesday. Wrightstown were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Marinette earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Wrightstown's goal came courtesy of Levi Amerine, who's now up to 13 this season.

Wrightstown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-3. As for Marinette, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4-2.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Wrightstown will head out on the road to square off against Algoma at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Marinette, they will look to defend their home pitch on the 23rd against Luxemburg-Casco at 4:00 p.m.
