Buffalo is 0-6 against Ravenswood since December of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Buffalo Bison will head out on the road to take on the Ravenswood Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Buffalo scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Saturday. They snuck past Teays Valley Christian with a 91-85 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Asher Flanery, who scored 27 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Jackson Mallett was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Ravenswood stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Tyler, posting a 67-36 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Ravenswood has posted since December 5, 2023.
Buffalo pushed their record up to 6-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Ravenswood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Buffalo took a serious blow against Ravenswood in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 64-31. Can Buffalo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
