The matchup between Fort Lee and Dwight Morrow on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. Fort Lee took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dwight Morrow. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Fort Lee's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Guy Vickers, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds, and Devin Jang who scored 22 points. Vickers is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played.
Meanwhile, Pascack Hills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 60-54 to Westwood.
Fort Lee has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Pascack Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
Fort Lee came up short against Pascack Hills when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 65-59. Can Fort Lee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
