The Poca Dots will square off against the Roane County Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Poca proved they can win big on Monday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over Teays Valley Christian.

Colton Dunbar was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Poca is 3-1 when Dunbar posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-12 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jaden Bowles, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Roane County earned a 14-11 victory over Braxton County on Saturday.
A THORNABAR looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.
On the hitting side, C KINDER was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of C CUMPSTON, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Roane County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Roane County's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Poca, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Poca has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Roane County struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
