Muhlenberg County extended their losing streak  to four  on Friday, dropping them down to 4-4. They were  outmatched by the Owensboro Red Devils and fell  54-0. The  contest marked the first time this year in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.
 Klay Wilken threw for 101 yards  on nine of 22 attempts.
As for Owensboro, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won five games by 28  points or more  so far this season.
 Leading Owensboro to victory were  Evan Hampton and  DaMarcus Ganaway Jr.  Hampton rushed for 140 yards and three  touchdowns on only ten carries, while  Ganaway Jr rushed for 64 yards and one  TD. Hampton's rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 140  rushing yards.

Meanwhile, Owensboro will  square off against  rival Madisonville-North Hopkins  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. That  matchup will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Hampton and  Markezz Hightower.
