Maryvale's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Medina on Wednesday. The Flyers walked away with a 5-1 win over the Cheektowaga Chargers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Flyers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jaxsyn Moritz was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Luke Altieri, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Maryvale's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Cheektowaga, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Maryvale will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chargers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
