Stall is 2-8 against Summerville since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Stall Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Summerville Green Wave at 7:00 p.m. Stall will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 99th, while Summerville is ranked 21st).
Last Friday, Stall came up short against Fort Dorchester and fell 45-35. Stall has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Logan Collins, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Makayla Waiters, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Summerville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Ashley Ridge 39-33.
Stall dropped their record down to 15-10 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Summerville, their defeat ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 18-7.
Stall suffered a grim 57-36 defeat to Summerville in their previous meeting last Tuesday. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Summerville's Molly Daugherty, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
