The McDonald County Mustangs stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. Everything went their way against Adrian as McDonald County made off with a 62-40 win. The win was familiar territory for McDonald County who now have five in a row.
McDonald County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Roslynn Huston, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Carlee Cooper, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and two steals.
McDonald County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Adrian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
McDonald County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cassville at 7:30 p.m. Adrian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rich Hill at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th.
