After flying high against DeLand last Friday, Seminole came back down to earth. The Seminoles fell just short of the Lake Howell Silverhawks by a score of 9-8 on Monday. Even though they lost, the Seminoles' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Seminole saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Green, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Madie Baker was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
