Marsing is 2-8 against Nampa Christian since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Marsing Huskies will be playing at home against the Nampa Christian Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Marsing scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past North Star, posting a 70-20 win on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Marsing has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marsing to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adyson Chadez, who scored 18 points. Chadez continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Josie Showalter, who scored 16 points.
Nampa Christian posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They breezed by Compass Charter at home to the tune of 60-28. The victory was just what Nampa Christian needed coming off of a 58-16 loss in their prior matchup.
Marsing's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Nampa Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.
Marsing came out on top in a nail-biter against Nampa Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 31-28. Will Marsing repeat their success, or does Nampa Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
