Ta'john Royster Delivers Best Effort of Season
Ta'John Royster produced his most outstanding game to date while leading East to the win on Friday. Royster rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win was the sixth in a row for East, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Royster and East will challenge Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Darion Matlock's big game helped extend East's winning streak to six on Friday. Matlock rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 69 yards.

Harrison Came Up Big in Northland's 58-6 Victory
Akeilles Harrison was a major factor in Northland's victory over Mifflin on Friday. Harrison did his part (and then some), throwing for 165 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushing for 50 yards for the 'W'.
Northland's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Harrison and Northland will head out to face off against Whetstone at 6:50 p.m. on Friday.
