Harker Heights hit Copperas Cove with a four-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldawgs fell just short of the Knights by a score of 9-7. Bulldawgs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Knights since Tuesday.
Gabrielle Wilson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenna Butler, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Shoemaker hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Copperas Cove struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.9 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Shoemaker might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Copperas Cove in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Grey Wolves have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
