Nominees are selected from statistics submitted on MaxPreps. Coaches who do not have current access may request their free account here. Weekly finalists are released on MaxPreps every Tuesday and voting is conducted in a special poll. Voting ceases at noon on Mondays. The winners are announced the next day along with the next week's nominees.
Participants may vote as many times as they want. It's a competition. Last week, over xxx,000 votes were cast. This school year, 7.5-million votes have been cast.

* Ramiah Elliott, North Central (Indianapolis) Girls Track & Field
Senior and Florida recruit became the first athlete 0 boy or girl – in the 119 year history of the IHSAA state track meet to win the 100 (11.46), 200 (23.63), 400 (54.75) and 1,600 relay (3:52.56).
* Hadley Lucas, Bloomington North Girls Track & Field
Became the first sophomore in state history to sweep the shot out (46-4.25) and discus (147-4) at the IHSAA state meet.
* Addison Wiley, Huntington North Girls Track & Field
A year after becoming the first Indiana runner to win the 800 and 1,600 titles at the IHSAA girls state meet, the senior and Colorado recruit defended both titles.
* Kole Mathison, Carmel Boys Track & Field
Junior won the 1,600 and 3,200 at the IHSAA state meet.
* John Colquitt, Brownsburg Boys Track & Field
Senior defended his 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles state titles at the IHSAA state meet and also ran on the winning 400 relay. Colquitt, who is 34-0 in hurdles finals over the past three years, is the first Indiana runner to sweep the hurdles in back-to-back years since Rod Woodson (Pro Football Hall of Fame safety) of Fort Wayne Snider did so in 1982-83.

Sophomore pitcher struck out 42 and allowed five hits and no earned runs in wins over Danville (14-1), Pike Central (3-0) and Corydon Central (3-0). Is 22-2 with 280 Ks and a 0.45 ERA.

Junior went 4-for-5 with seven RBI, five runs, two home runs and two triples in an 18-5 win over New Prairie.

Carried the ball 13 times for 146 yards and four touchdowns, returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown, had two interceptions, made five tackles and had 351 all-purpose yards (rushing, receiving, kick returns and interception returns).

Junior amassed 409 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns on nine touches in a 60-6 win over Cloverdale. Averaged 50/7 yards per carry and scored four touchdowns on seven carries. Senior guard had back-to-back games of 42 points in a 79-71 loss to Trinity Lutheran and an 82-64 win over Switzerland County. Also had 17 rebounds and five assists in the two games.

Senior quarterback-receiver tandem helped the Titans overcome a 19-point defecit to beat Brebeuf Jesuit 45-35 for the Class 3A state title. Allen, a Purdue recruit, completed a record 28-of-50 passes for 398 yards and five touchdowns. Heltsley set records for receptions (13) and receiving yards (218) and tied a record for receiving touchdowns (three).

Junior forward recorded her sixth and seventh double-double of the season with 24 points and 18 rebounds in a 49-37 win over Tippecanoe Valley and 24 points and 12 rebounds in a 54-40 win over Goshen. Averaging 17.8 points and 11.6 rebounds.
