The Community School of Davidson Spartans will take on the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
Community School of Davidson is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of North Carolina's top teams: Lake Norman Charter, who was ranked tenth  at the time (Community School of Davidson was ranked 19th). The Spartans came up short against  the Knights on Wednesday, falling  3-0. The Spartans' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
Meanwhile,  it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but South Stanly had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Vikings.
 South Stanly walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 26-24,  25-14.
 Community School of Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 23-5. As for South Stanly, their win  ended  a  four-match drought on the road  and  puts them at 9-14.
