The Colorado Wolves''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Winters, falling 48-7. Colorado was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Winters apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Despite the loss, Colorado still got an impressive performance from Ezik Hernandez, who rushed for 103 yards on only 14 carries.
Colorado's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7. Sadly, the team can't blame their woes on tough opposition, as that stretch included 1-8 Winters (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 38.9% over those games). As for Winters, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Olney the next time they take the field. Colorado will host Olney at 0:00 a.m. on Friday, while Winters will head out to face them at 0:00 a.m. on November 3rd.
