Eastlake has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Graham-Kapowsin Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Eastlake is ranked fifth, while Graham-Kapowsin is ranked third).
Eastlake extended their postseason success on Saturday against Skyview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Storm 17-14. That's two games straight that Eastlake has won by exactly three points.
Eastlake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landon Renfroe led the charge by rushing for 88 yards and a touchdown. Eastlake also got a significant boost from Grady Woodward, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 83 yards.
Meanwhile, Graham-Kapowsin put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past Gonzaga Prep with a 20-14 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Graham-Kapowsin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daveon Superales, who threw for 399 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt. Malachi Durant also helped out as he racked up 129 receiving yards.
Eastlake pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Graham-Kapowsin, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.
