The South Medford Panthers will be playing at home against the Grants Pass Cavemen at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. South Medford will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Even though Roseburg scored an imposing 78 points on Tuesday, South Medford still came out on top. South Medford took their match against Roseburg 88-78.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 29-29 at halftime, Grants Pass was not quite South Eugene's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell to the Axe 68-62. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (60), Grants Pass still had to take the loss.
South Medford's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Grants Pass, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.
South Medford didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Grants Pass in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 37-33 win.
