The Kingstree Blazers lost to the Lee Central Stallions back in February of 2023, but the Kingstree Blazers didn't allow the Lee Central Stallions the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Kingstree came out on top against Lee Central by a score of 47-37.
Kingstree's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Micheal Kelly, who scored 12 points. Adarius Hilton was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
When it comes to explaining why Lee Central lost, one person who can't be blamed is Chuck Harry. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rjay Spann, who scored five points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Kingstree has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Lee Central, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingstree will take on Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Marion presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kingstree in South Carolina (Marion is ranked 38th, while Kingstree is ranked 127th). As for Lee Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mullins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Mullins focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
