Lakeside Lutheran lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaycee Guzman, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Kooper Mlsna was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Lakeside Lutheran's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-1. As for Lake Mills, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
Lakeside Lutheran will take on Waterloo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterloo has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 476 points over their last seven matches. As for Lake Mills, they will head out on the road to challenge Deerfield at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Deerfield will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Lake Mills is ranked 32nd).
