Rockport-Fulton has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the West Oso Bears at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rockport-Fulton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday.
Last Friday, Rockport-Fulton came up short against Sinton and fell 45-33.
Despite the loss, Rockport-Fulton had strong showings from Annika Guerrero, who scored nine points along with six rebounds, and Camryn Brown, who scored two points.
In what's become a running theme this season, West Oso gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Sinton 50-18 at home. Winning may never get old, but West Oso sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Rockport-Fulton has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season. As for West Oso, they pushed their record up to 23-7 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Rockport-Fulton took a serious blow against West Oso in their previous meeting on January 2nd, falling 64-26. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Rockport-Fulton was down 40-15.
